Education

Marcos Gabay Vigil was born in Montevideo (Uruguay) the 24 of March of 1954. Its artistic activity began in 1967 as accompanying guitarist in the National Comedy’s Play "As You please" of William Shakespeare.
From 1968 he develops a vast activity as musician, composer of music for theater and cinema of animation, in particular for films of the "Det Danske Filmoerksted " (Institute of Cinema of Denmark): "The Farmers of the Cua" which he is also composer, and "The Nest".
As interpreter executes the guitar and the double bass in all styles.

November 1995, the Phylharmonic Orchestra of Montevideo performs for the first time his "Frost Suaner", composition of symphonic character, elegy written at first for double bass and cords between 1992 and 1994.

He develops educational jobs in "The House of the Guitar" and in the Expression Workshop of Nancy Guguich.

Performs like Jury of Carnival in the category "Music " in Montevideo, 1998 and 2001.
